Intercessory prayer through a chain

The common thread that runs through all the lives of those who down through the years have had & continue to have, successful ministries, still remains, as the ability & the will to pray.

I do not mean fine flowing phrases & grand words, no; I mean the ability to devote time & energy in talking to God.  Not only talking, but listening to what God has to say, his reply may not be what we want to hear, but reply he will.  This may come in a variety of ways, not least being reminded of a verse of scripture.

Prayer is the power house of the church & what is required is praying folks who will give of their time, sometimes as much as ten minutes each day! This, to bring praise & petition to a loving heavenly Father.

A few members of our church will be starting a prayer chain, if you can spare a few minutes each week to pray for others why not join the chain? This can be as long as we like, the idea being for one person to receive a telephone call & to take time to pray the requests forwarded. The following day to phone on the prayer list & from there to the next link in the chain.  Confidence is guaranteed & God’s promises are all just.
